If you are currently with a Network, or looking to set up a new firm from scratch, threesixty can provide you with all the assistance you need.

Our FSA Authorisation service is designed specifically to assist you in your application for Direct Authorisation.

As part of this service threesixty will:

  • Complete the FSA Application on your behalf
  • Provide procedures and documentation to satisfy FSA requirements
  • Handle FSA queries arising from your Application
  • Obtain compliant PI cover through our preferred facility
  • Submit application to FSA and wait for authorisation
  • Forward your completed agency applications to Product Providers

  2. Engage threesixty by completing contract for services
  3. Apply for authorisation using threesixty's FSA Authorisation service
  4. Resign from your current Firm or Network once references have been requested
  5. Wait for confirmation of your authorisation date from FSA
  6. From your date of authorisation you will begin to enjoy the many benefits which threesixty provide

Direct Authorisation from the IFA perspective

Why leave your network and apply for direct authorisation?

There were many reasons to leave networks and client comments included high costs and poor service from their network.  Others included the lack of backup from the network and restrictions from their compliance department.  Also clients felt network staff were too young and inexperienced.  Other clients left networks because they wanted to be more in control of their own destiny and have the freedom to work with people who helped them achieve client objectives.

How did you find the application process?

Many clients said threesixty made the process easy and clients were given assistance from us each time they needed it.

What advice would you give other firms considering Direct Authorisation?

What are your thoughts now you are directly authorised?

Clients felt it was like a breath of fresh air and with the shackles of a network being removed, processing time was halved.  Clients also liked the fact that it takes no time at all to receive commission payments.

The overall view from clients is that they are delighted with their freedom as it looks more promising for the future and they like the fact that we are always available to give advice.
