Clients who have become directly authorised with threesixty’s assistance were recently asked for feedback on the process. There comments are included below:

Why leave your network and apply for direct authorisation?

There were many reasons to leave networks and client comments included high costs and poor service from their network.  Others included the lack of backup from the network and restrictions from their compliance department.  Also clients felt network staff were too young and inexperienced.  Other clients left networks because they wanted to be more in control of their own destiny and have the freedom to work with people who helped them achieve client objectives.

How did you find the application process?

Many clients said threesixty made the process easy and clients were given assistance from us each time they needed it.

“Employing threesixty to do the paperwork helped it be completed quickly” and “would advise anyone to let threesixty get on with it and feel confident in their experience and ability.”

Considering Applying for Direct Authorisation?

Clients stated – "talk to support service providers, give yourself plenty of time, and control your own business by getting Directly Authorised".

The other main concern highlighted about networks was if the network ran into difficulties and ceased trading, the IFAs within it were also prevented from trading.

What are your thoughts now you are directly authorised?

Clients felt it was like a breath of fresh air and with the shackles of a network being removed, processing time was halved.  Clients also liked the fact that it takes no time at all to receive commission payments.

The overall view from clients is that they are delighted with their freedom as it looks more promising for the future and they like the fact that we are always available to give advice.
