JM Glendinning Retains Crown at threesixty's Second Annual IFA Golf Tournament

A team from IFA firm JM Glendinning, of Ilkley, West Yorkshire, has won the second annual golf tournament staged by threesixty, the fee-based IFA support services provider, retaining their crown from 2006.

The conclusion of the 2007 threesixty golf challenge took place on the 25th September on the world famous Brabazon course at the Belfry, only days after the course hosted the prestigious Quinn Direct British Masters.

The competition comprised of seven regional qualifying matches with the winners from each match progressing to the final where they would meet the reigning 2006 champions; the team comprising of Nick Henshaw of team sponsor Zurich and Richard Carr, Paul Glendinning and Andrew Holmes of JM Glendinning Insurance Brokers.

The Nearest-the-Pin prize was won by Terry Lappin from Doherty Pensions and Investments while Rob Rees, from Throgmorton Asset Management Ltd, won the honours for hitting the longest drive.

David Ingram, Partner at threesixty, commented: “The reigning champions defended their title with admirable style. Thanks go to all our clients and providers who supported the tournament and we look forward to hosting the event again next year.”
