Seminars Offer IFAs Overview of Post A Day Pensions Regime
threesixty is staging a series of seminars over the next month on pensions in the post-A Day world.
In the next series of threesixty’s Key Issues Seminars, speakers will look at how pension simplification and recent events have raised a number of fundamental advice issues that IFAs need to understand. Areas to be covered include: Post-A Day reviews, including triggers for review, trust to contract arrangements, FSAVCs, and retirement annuities; pre-retirement issues, including pension input periods for businesses, tax relief, concurrency and a brief look at the situation for doctors and dentists; and finally post-retirement issues, including vesting protected benefits and taking benefits in stages, with a look at the impact on the lifetime allowance, tax-free cash and recycling.
Entrance to the seminars, which are being staged in association with Clerical Medical, is free. The seminars will start at 9.30am for coffee for 10am and will finish around 1pm with a light lunch.
IFAs can reserve a place at the seminars by emailing seminars@threesixtyservices.co.uk.
Venues and dates for the seminars include: Leeds and Watford (19 February); Belfast and Southampton (23 February); Stirling and Croydon (26 February); Edinburgh and Bristol (27 February); Derby (28 February); Birmingham (1 March); and Manchester and Norwich (2 March).
