threesixty Client Wins National Award

The financial planning skills of Dennis Hall, of Yellowtail Financial, have helped him to win a national award.

Dennis, the Managing Director of City-based Yellowtail Financial Planning, beat competitors from all over the country to win £750 prize money and the title of Retirement Planner of the Year, which was awarded by leading trade magazine, Money Management.

Kate Silverton, a presenter for the BBC’s News 24 programme, presented Dennis with his award at a gala ceremony in London’s Dorchester Hotel.

To win the award, Dennis had to draft a financial plan for a 59-year-old man due to retire in six months’ time, taking account of all the client’s financial assets, aspirations, spending needs and wishes with regards to inheritance planning. After drawing up an assessment and recommendations, Dennis was cross-examined by three judges who are leading figures in the financial services industry.

Dennis, who has worked in financial services since 1987, commented: “It is always an honour to receive recognition from peers in your own industry. It has been a great year for Yellowtail, which was launched in April, so to win this award rounds off a fantastic opening six months.”

Yellowtail Financial is a client firm of threesixty services, which was voted the number one IFA services provider*. David Ingram, Partner of threesixty services, commented: “Dennis is a highly talented financial adviser who stands for the same high standards of service that we set out to achieve with our own clients at threesixty.”
