Directory Persons – Bulk notification using Excel file upload

The FCA has made changes to how it provides status update to firms that have used the Directory Persons bulk submissions ‘file upload’ method. This is the method where firms upload an Excel file into FCA Connect to add multiple Certification Staff to the Directory Persons register. These changes do not affect the other method which can be used to input one individual at a time into Connect.

Previously, the FCA issued two emails when processing a bulk submission; one email to confirm the processing status of the application and another confirming the successfully processed Individual Reference Numbers (IRNs).
