Earlier this week the FCA released a data request to IFAs who have advised clients on defined benefit transfers from the Rolls Royce pension scheme, warning it will take action where necessary.
In a joint statement published on 28 October, The FCA, the Pensions Regulator (TPR) and the Money and Pensions Service (MaPS) said they had been in talks with Rolls Royce and its scheme trustees after an increase in the number of DB transfer requests as a consequence of redundancies.
